Moving all of my luggage was an adventure in itself, and the most exhausting one at that. Moving it from the train station in Lund to the Central Station in Stockholm took all the hands we had. For this I am even more grateful that I have such great friends ith me here to help me along. Thank the Lord they had lockers at the train station in Stockholm where I was able to leave my bags for the next 2 nights. Greeted by Sofia and friends we arrived with hugs and introductions all around. I am soo lucky that I know people here. Yuki arrived in Stockholm without anyone she knew. Now thanks to her work that she did in Sweden she sent some friends for me to meet and Green River, thus leading me to having an easier trip to Sundsvall. Our first stop in Stockholm was a sushi place, where I ordered fried noodles due to my lack of taste of seafood. After that was just exploring!!
We then proceeded to travel around to the infamous city hall where we tried to go up to the top both days we were there but never got to. It still was amazing to be hanging out in Stockholm with friends that I knew there. Sofia had a friends apartment she let us stay at the first night and the second night we stayed at a Stefans. As we mingled around Stockholm our first night we toured through old town Stockholm where we enjoyed some ice cream and smoothies. We then made our way down to the dock to eat them and socialize. The dock was obviously the hang out spot for people. We sat there and talked for about an hour. We then decided to go on a ferry ride across to another island. This was amazing, how you could buy a metro pass in Stockholm and you used it for all the modes of public transportation they offer! In one day I went on a boat a bus a train and a subway! Plus I was introduced to the longest escalator I have ever seen!!! Down to the get to the blue line of the subway there was a humungous escalator. Sunday night we were pretty exhausted and Elin and Noortje were ready to stay home for the evening, but kristen and I couldn't resist to be on the town while we were in Stockholm. We got all dolled up and headed to the bar to meet our friends from Green River. It was a Sunday night so it wasn't hopping very great but there were still people out and about. Well, the boys we knew from Green River were getting paid at midnight from their jobs in Stockholm.
