The drive to Minneapolis, MN was the shortest yet clocking in at just under four hours. Along the way we saw HUGE wind farms. I imagine it'd be pretty crazy to have those in your backyard.

We have yet to go into Minneapolis..because right across the street from our hotel is the Mall of America, the largest mall in the United States. So, after we unpacked we immediately went there and spent the better part of 3.5 hours exploring it's vast interior.

The mall is 4 stories high, and if it were laid out end to end would probably be about 3 times the length of the Rockaway Mall. So imagine something 4 times longer, and twice as high. Now, that's just the MALL, it doesn't include the huge center...which is (brace yourself), AN AMUSEMENT PARK.

Smack in the middle of hundreds of stores is a full fledged amusement park, complete with 4 roller coasters, a ferris wheel, a log flume, and tons more. Check out the pictures, but you truly had to be there.

The mall itself was great because it had a store for everyone. There was a flag store, an antique store, and even a store dedicated to cowboy clothing. Very fun.

Not much else for today. We're going swimming in a few minutes. Long day tomorrow, heading up into Minneapolis for the day and then staying into the evening for the fireworks display. Hope the weather holds!

Talk to everyone later.
