COME FLY WITH ME LETS FLY LETS FLY AWAY

Finally decided to drag my fat arse off Kane's sofa and hit the mean streets of Newcastle, Australia's oldest city! It was quite cool, built around a lovely harbour and had a cool boardwalk, I tell you something that is really cool about Australia, the Aussies really know how to make the most of their natural surroundings and they actually use them! There are always people out jogging, fishing, swimming, boating, surfing, doing all sorts at all hours of the day. It's quite inspiring! Well, it is for some, it just made me tired looking at them so I sat and had a coffee!

After an eventful night in Kane's local, (or probably just a standard night for Kane) which ended up with Kane and his dad covered in blood and Kane nearly dying from choking on his own vomit, I packed my bags and set off on a 50 hour journey to New York. This journey began with a 30min drive to the train station, where I said goodbye to Kane. I feel really bad when I say goodbye to people because I never show any emotion! I am just use to saying goodbye now that it has no effect on me but deep down I do feel sad not knowing when will  be the next time I will see that person again. Oh well, that's just me, deal with it! But I was sad to say goodbye to Kane, but I was excited about getting on the road again.

The 3 hour train to Sydney was uneventful apart from a phone call from my bro Lee to say goodbye before he goes off trekking through China, Hong Kong and all around there, he is braver than I am, I have no desire or courage to travel around that area of the world, yet. I wished him luck and was very proud of him for being so gutsy! I like to think I had something to do with inspiring him to go off traveling! But probably not, don't think I have ever inspired him to do anything. He is his own person and follows the beat of his own drum! Good Luck to him!

I then boarded the bus for a 15 hour overnight journey to Melbourne airport. However, on the way the bus blew a tyre and then the jack wouldn't fit under the axle cause the tyre was so flat. After waiting 2 hours the mechanic finally came but the spare was flat! So we then had to sort that little problem out! All this in the upper 30 degree heat did not make for happy campers! But it would have made for a great slap stick comedy movie!

I was grand however as I managed to sneak in to the truckers lounge and watched a Disney movie, but what was funnier than the movie was watching the middle aged, tattooed, big huge hard truckers laughing at a kiddies film like it was the funniest thing they had ever seen! It made those two hours fly by!!

Once we were back on the road it was plane sailing, even though we were on the road not the sea, all the way to the Airport, with one little stop in Australia's capitol Canberra, which, is the worst capitol city in the world! Nobody even knows it is the capitol, nor why it is! It was just very dull!

I then boarded the nine hour forty min flight to LA before getting on board the five hour twenty min flight to New York, bringing my total travel time to just over fifty hours, but with the miracle of time travel even though I left Australia on Tuesday and traveled for over two days I still got to New York on Wednesday. So now I am time traveling as well as everything else! Wicked! I have never been so excited to board a plane before and as for stepping off that plane in New York, well that's a whole other email!
