HARDLY EDUCATION ALL THEM BOOKS I DIDNīT READ. THEY JUST SAT THERE ON MY SHELF LOOKING MUCH SMARTER THAN ME
Back in Auckland just killing time till my visa for Colorado comes through so I went to the nearest hostel to the Embassy and sorted my self out with a free bed in return for 15 hours work a week. 3 hours five days a week cleaning toilets, showers and making beds! Not too bad! I share a room with 8 other people from all over. One Dutch girl, Brazilian Boy, South Indian Guy, Aussie Girl, English Guy, Japanese Guy and whoever else drifts in and out of the room!
This week I meet up with some friends that I know I will never see again once they leave New Zealand and that I quite a shame but I guess thats what happens when you become a backpacker! I also had my first proper sushi meal! I managed to not throw up, it was quite tasty, but I didn't get to eat much as the chopsticks just proved too much of a challenge to me and I found most of the food down my bra when i got undressed for bed that night!
Bruno, the Brazilian guy in my room left this week and headed back to Brazil, but he invited me over if I ever go, maybe I'll take him up on his offer! The Indian guy and English guy also left, was it something I said? But they were replaced by two Israelites from Gaza Sabina and Yakov. I was so embarrassed about how little I know about Israel, the Jewish faith and all the politics over there. I must pay more attention to the world and what goes on in it, as it was the first time that I couldn't really join in on a conversation and I hated that, I felt really ignorant, a trait that I hate in other people!
Goal for next week, get educated!!
