SUMMER TIME AND THE LIVING IS EASY
This week it was the turn of Sarah to say goodbye and leave Wanaka. But no fear I will be seeing Sarah again as we will be working together in Colorado. The good news is that I get to take over her job, and finally work with the older children! I have been trying to do this all season as I really don't like working with the 3 and 4 year olds that I currently work with. I am now working with 5 to 14 year old and it is so much better!!
My two housemates went away for the weekend, which was great as I had the whole house to myself and I loved every minute of it! I can't wait to have my own place again. I am so over house sharing with people I don't know! It's been really cool meeting new people, but at the end of the day nothing beats having your own place and feeling completely comfortable where you live.
It is glorious weather here in Wanaka. Really sunny and really hot! It's crazy to be up in the mountain surrounded by snow and then 20 min later be in the town slapping on the sun cream! So I get the best of both worlds here.
I'm actually looking forward to the summer time here now in New Zealand. I can't wait to be driving along the open road again, with the sun beating down, tanning my driving arm, warming up the beaches for when I stop off for lunch! Bring it on!
