What I did
We spent two hours wandering this amazing location and everyone enjoyed it. It was raining cats and dogs (or as Jarrett said, "My mom always calls this Raining Men," so we bought umbrellas from a enterprising vendor in front of the Met and walked back to the Subway station.
Dinner was at the Grand Central Station dining concourse again where students could choose their own vendor - most chose Thai food and New York Cheesecake from Junior's
The kids were exhausted and back in beds by 10.
All the students competed very well in their committee rooms and Ms Kelly and I were able to observe every single one of them in action multiple times.
We will finish up today at 3 and then head back to the UN headquarters for closing ceremonies and awards. We have a shuttle at 6 taking us back to JFK and then the flight leaves at 9 for ATX.
I am UNBELIEVABLY proud of all of my delegates. Spencer and Audrey were awarded HONORABLE DELEGATES at the UN headquarters. My favorite part of the whole trip was hearing the speakers talk about the future of International Relations in the interest of peace. I know all of these amazing young people will make 2030 a more equal, a more tolerant, a more educated, and a more inspiring world filled with happiness and love.
