I was using the town of Corrientes as a transport hub on my way back to Bolivia. It´s a fairly pleasant town but without much for tourists. Not that I minded since I was only here a few hours. I didn´t have a map of Corrientes in my guide book but they happily gave me one at tourist information. I killed time by visiting the small colonial history museum and taking a walk beside the river. I just had time to watch Arsenal and Barcelona in the champion's league final before I had to catch my bus. I couldn´t catch a bus direct to the border from Corrientes so instead I´m heading on to Salta. On the map the direct route from Iguazu to Santa Cruz is clearly through Paraguay. I´d thought about this but getting a visa for Paraguay is a bit of a hassle and the buses aren´t as good. Also, I´m getting used to the luxury of Argentinian buses. I get a good seat, food, a film and a toilet on board. The Bolivian buses might be a bit of a shock to me when I cross the border.
