The time for us to leave is fast approaching.
We have purchased a beautiful 1990 Nissan Pintara Station Wagon to drive around Australia.
First we will head to Tasmania for the Aussie Zlot (scout jamboree), but taking the car there is expensive (ferry prices are crazy, and space is limited) so we will fly there.
We should be back in Mainland Aussie around Jan 11th and we will head north along the coast, and plan to do a counter clockwise loop p to Cairns and the peninsula and across to Uluru, and down through Adelaide, the Great Ocean Rd back to Melbourne for Feb 8th.
We will not be spending much time in internet cafes over that time, so do not expect to hear much from us.
