Can we make the flight to Ushuaia???

We landed in BA either at 1 or 2 pm. It certainly was not 4 (pilot was slighly high when he did the original Math).

The flight attendants and our travel book said it should be 2. The start of the art computer on this 1973 Boeing 767 (it had ashtrays for crying out loud!!) said it was 1.

Turns out it was 2, so we had just enough time to MAYBE catch our next flight 50 km, and stress about it.

Obvously the bags and customs took forever, and we finally got out at 2:30. I ran to the ATM to get some cash for a cab. Disculpe Senior, no Functione. No cardo debito, no cardo credito. Is there another?  Si in the city. Great, we were at the airport, with 0 (zero), NADA, peso, and in a big hurry.

fortunately one of the cab companies took credit cards. Since it was Sunday, we made it to Airport Jorge Newbury for our flight to Ushuaia with just enough time to try the ATM there. Also nothing.

We exchanged a trevelers check, and wonderful airport rate of 8% commission, but now we had $100 worth of Peso (atually $92). Hopefully enough for a couple of days we thought as our plane took off for Ushuaia.
