After a car ride, 2 buses, 2 trains and a plance ride I arrived in The Hague in Holland.
I came here for 1 reason and that was to see my Godfather Harry and his wife Joanne. I havent seen them for 13 years and I had a 1 day window of opportunity to catch them. Harry was awesome as always. He was good friends with my dad and has always been really good to me. He wouldnt let me pay for anything (damn him and his evil ways). We started with all you can eat breakfast then he took me to Madurodam. It's a miniature version of holland. Its like a big train set with all the main landmarks. This was great as it saved me going to the actual landmarks which would have taken much longer.
After Madurodam we had some lunch went to the Escher gallery. I've always been a fan of his work, so it was cool to see the real prints. The day finished with Harry and Joanne taking me out for awesome 3 course meal. I had the best steak I've had in such along time. It was great to see them both after so long. No other people make me feel as special as these guys do(except you Ma). I said goodbye and walked back to my hostel with a few tears in my eyes.
