Halong Island Ice Tea

Just got back from a 3 tour to Halong Bay with 4 Canadians, 3 Pom's, 2 Aussies, 2 Spaniards, 2 Koreans and a Swede. Was pretty cool. Slept on a Junk under the stars after a full day of getting sun burnt. We did some cave exploration and kyaking. We were then taken to an island to have lunch. We thought we were going to die it was so fucking hot. There was no shade except a small shady part of beach that was the home of some litter and a human turd. They put up an umbrella for us to eat under the sun on the sand. At this point I was burning my burns.
On the second night I was on an Island with just 5 peoples from the tour and the resort staff. The place had been open for 3 days and the bar chick didn't know how to mix drinks. We invented the Halong Island Ice Tea which tasted like shit. I then took my drinking to the next level with various cacktails and black label Johny Walker. The next day I remembered why I don't drink anymore.
Was a cool trip had some fun and hung out with some rad people. More thumbnails ...

Sounds awesome Andrew! Keep on your long island ice tea creations, the one good thing about hangovers is that they seem temporary :) all your activity sounds like you are getting around on the knee ok. good work.
I trained Shane last night. He is an absolute pleasure to train. Technique is perfect and although the back has to be watched, he is pretty much free of injury-related restrictions. w... show all
