Another early day and out the door. I woke up and realized that nearly everyone in the hostel has moved on. Oh well I will be moving on tomorrow (Tuesday) also.
Thia will be my last entry for awhile so I´ll keep it short and try to have more phots than words.

I was told I had to take a taxi to the Tower of Belem (Torre de Belem) because it was too far away. Well since I had time to burn I decided to walk. It never ceases to amaze me how peole from foreign countries always think things are further away than they really are or maybe they think Americans are out of shape.
Either way it did take several hours to get there but with plenty to see and photograph along the way it passed very quickly. Along the way I walked under the bridge built in honor of my birthday (April 25th) or at least thats what I believe the reason to be.

Ok, as I said more photos less words.

* My next destination will be the home of this years World Series champions...woo hoo!

Traveler Deluxe
Ya know, when you do decide to return and live life like the rest of us, the question won't be 'where did you go?', because it'll be much easier to ask 'Where didn't you go?' I can't believe how much of the world you've been able to see in the relatively short time you've been gone. I get to go to Chicago in three weeks to look at digital xray equipment. Yippee. Just not the same as your travels. Be safe.

tower!
Speaking as a sculptor, that tower is massively cool! I would go to see that alone. 'Me and a couple of friends' looks like a lot of bull.
