A stop in Doha again but this time I didn't lose a bag or my ATM card - woo hoo!

Annapurnas by air

Checked out of the hostel at 6:30, grabbed a taxi and off to KTM airport.

My airlines - Qatar - bumped me up to First Class. Could it be guilt feelings over having lost my bag? I dont know but I was living in the lap of luxury up front. Qatar really knows how to treat First Class passengers. Flew of over and around the Annapurna's for many miles. After the mountains I saw desert for a long time and then water and then desert again and then flew over Dubai before landing in Doha. Being in first class gave me the privilege of riding in a a private air conditioned bus to the Premium Terminal Lounge . Here I was treated to an array of mediterranean snacks like rolled grape leaves; and more middle eastern sweets than a Lebanees bakery. The bar was quite impressive too - every flavor of Absolut that they make.

More Mountains from the plane

If I would've had more time I would have had a soak in the spa's hot tub by candlelight with champagne. I will include photos of all of this in the next entry - I dont have my cable with me to upload now.

I saw a woman here dressed in black from head to toe with almost nothing exposed but her eyes and even they were covered in black makeup. I need to learn more about this.

Okay I am boarding for my next destination so more later.

Hint: I am going to a land where Muezzihs announce prayer 3x's per day from mosques with minarets
