I continued for the next day, only to after a midday stop in larger military town called Miling to discover the next piece of road was being rebuilt. It was so bad that I my rear tyre that was pumped up to maximum pressure and laiden with the weight of my panniers after hitting  a small rock as I accelerated down a hill received a blow out.

Looking for my repair kit I then discovered I'd left my pump in the lorry the previous day when I'd gained  lift. 10km down this impossible road in 40 degree heat I found myself  stranded once again!

What was to happen next was interesting...
