We are really pleased with our decision to wait and keep trying to find our perfect home. The rent here is expensive, but that is the case anywhere in London. We are close to the tube, close to the high road, the markets, and the parks. There is a Russian Orthadox Church 100 yards down the street from us, and an old cathedral-y church 500 yards the other way. Families walk their dogs, we have old time-y locks with cool keys, and everything seems right! We got this place at a steal, because the landlord needed to get it off the market and start making mortgage payments... pretty sweet. It's 150 years old so there are cracks and some creaky floors, but we love it. Thanks for following along with us in our long search, we are glad to be done!
