Whew! Another tough day! We have put a deposit down on an apartment, but since we haven't heard back from the landlord, we think he probably has other offers he wants to entertain. That being the case--we are really forced to continue to look. We went back out to Ealing today to keep up the search, but all we found was that Dexter's is not a well managed real estate company, and that we are doing fine dealing with owners directly.

After looking at 4 to 6 apartments, we came back to downtown just completely beat. We had walked for about 2 hours, (about 6 miles, spread out over the day) and just wanted to sleep. We ate our leftover lunch (Thai food!) and checked our email, but then we decided we needed to be seeing the city too, even if it was hard!

It was a really romantic night, so I am pleased. We walked 4.5 miles along the Thames past Parliament, Big Ben, the London Eye, a festival, and over two bridges.
