The 5 things we learned in Olympos:

1)  Dana Cannot Turkish belly-dance (not that she, for one minute, pretended that she could).

2)  Smoking Promotions are common occurrances in the bars.  On our big night out to ORANGE BAR, we saw a young group of about 20 good-looking guys and girls walk in, all wearing these pristine white uniforms.  The girls in mini-dresses, head bandanas and sparkling, shiny, silver platform shoes - the guys in matching white pants and tops.  It was like a 'Gilligan's Island' tour boat had arrived and all of their staff came for a party.  It ends up that these folks were there to promote smoking.  They passed out cigarettes and drank and laughed and passed out more cigarrettes and then were on their way.  Bon Voyage!  A little different than the smoke-free bars back at home!

3)  Someone's making a fortune with the Olympos ruins.  It is free to go to the beach here at Olympos - but to get to the beach, you must walk the pathway through the ruins - and there is a charge (2 Lira) to walk through them.  Cha-Ching.  Very smart that one.
