By boat from HCMC into the Mekong Delta.  The area really is completely shaped and the people's lives really are totally reliant and hugely affected by the mighty river.

We have seen floating markets, boats and many very precariously placed houses on stilts overhanging the river edge as well as a "land market", fish farm, coconut candy, rice and honey production.

When in this part of the world the "Mekong Steamboat" is recommended for dinner!
