We went to Bago just to get another bus up to Kalaw. But after a terrible experience at the bus station and after being tricked by the moto drivers at the station we ended up staying for one night and changing our plans and going to Mandalay first. Bago is an awful place, with the highway crossing it, it's dirty, noisy, polluted. If you plan to go, you can skip it.
