The half way point of the Easter Holiday and we are heading to Peron Cape in the Francois National Park. First stop little lagoon, amazing, clear water system, could even see the shovel nose swimming towards the lagoon.

What do you mean shovel nose? Shark he said as she put her toes in the water!

Followed system to where it started, the midges were too much so this was taken off the agenda, otherwise we would have ended up being on their menu.

What with the bite of the sun and midges, we were off to the next stop.

Next visit was to the homestead and a dive in the hot tub for those aches and pains. Few spare parts around if you need, however it did not save the tourists broken down of the track since yesterday. Gees, how did they cope in the heat.

Ranger ended up towing them back to the homestead after more than 24 hrs stuck on the track. 55 Km's of dusty boggey tracks to the cape.

Skip jack point over looks the marine park with manta rays, sharks, turtles and fish abound.

At the end of the day and after stopping at a nice BIGHT where the big mamma went swimming, we headed home. But wait let the air out of the tyres a little more, the beach is too soft!

Made it back, phew!! Even after allowing Sue to drive a bit, my nerves are shot after that experience.

Back to base and a wine in hand I'm relaxed once again.
