Me and Moya were very excited to see that our Paris entry had already reached 50 reads and just from yesterday. We thought it might of been a mistake but then I remembered how greatly loved and popular we are.
So onto our time in Barcelona hmmm well Its been very lazy it feels like we haven't really done anything. The first day we went to the beach where we had to hunt for a place to sit and when we did we were just surrounded with old topless women. That night we went to a fancy resturant in the square we had to line up for 30 minutes and we got to sit ourside which was nice, our dinner was really yummy and we also got a litre of sangria between us for only 6 euros, we thought after the horrible train ride here we deserved it.
About the train ride, we had to sit next to some weird skinny old man who kept talking to himself and Im pretty sure he was licking the paper in his notebook I moved to a free seat to sleep and awoke to find him right in my face speaking to me in french...apparently Moya's discman moved like an inch and he felt the need to wake me about it, Moya was right beside it like but he woke me instead! after that I was to scared to go back to sleep until he got off at his stop. We later found that he had left Moya a little love letter asking for her to send him a picture if she felt the same way about him.....weirdo!
But back to Barcelona, our hostel is horrible! we walked into our room on the 1st day with people still in our beds. The heat in our room is so bad that its really hard to sleep and we've probaly lost 5kg from just sweating. But we made some friends with two guys from Holland who went to the park Guell which is a park designed by the artist Gaudi and it was very nice with mosaic seats and stuff... we walked up the path right to the top where we could see all of barcelona. that night we had a few to drink we went to an Irish bar (surprise surprise) and as linda was about to pay for the drinks the bar tender said that it was free! when we asked why, he said the guy at the end of the bar got them, it was like we were in a movie! after we went back to the hostel and sat on the stairs and made people talk to us! we ended up having half the hostel with us but the phillipino lady at the desk wasn't too happy cos she kept shouting 'you go to bed now!' we all to hide in the toilets from her! we all shared a mutual hate of our hostel!
the next day our dutch friends went home...and we didnt really do anything.
We've been to the Picasso museum and the cathedral, and looked around some really nice shops. We are leaving tonight for Monte Carlo which wasn't planned we meet some guys at the train staion and are following them cause their more organised....but really we think its the only way to get to Rome for saturday....so all roads DON'T lead to Rome!!
