so we came to this little french town called rouen because it sounded good in the book...and we're very glad we did! everythings really....french! all the houses are very old and slanted and there are old churches everywhere. its where joan of arc was burnt at the stake and theres a church built right on that spot. there is a big cathedral that Monet did a series of paintings of so every night they are putting projections of his paintings onto the cathedral and it looks amazing! so amazing we watched it twice and we'll probably go back tonite! theres little cafes everywhere and we've learnt the french serve bread with everything! and they aren't as bad as everyone says, in fact they're very nice! we went to a few museums today. one was the fine art museum, it was only 2 euros in and it was huge! it had some of monets paintings and other really famous stuff. we went to the joan of arc tower where she was imprisionned before she got burnt. and then we went to the lock and key museum which linda thought was gonna be really boring but its turns out it wasnt! we sat in the park eating baguettes and being very french. we are leaving tommorow which makes us very sad :( hehe but we are going to paris tomorrow which we havent really been looking forward to (haha) c'est tout! au revoir.....moya and linda!
