Imagine yourself in a boiling hot room, with thousands of Greeks all yelling at each other at the same time, while fat English children feed scraps of food to dozens of stray dogs that are enjoying the tourist season more than the tourists, and you begin to get the picture. Welcome to Irakilon airport, where smoking is not only allowed, but seems to be manditory. You can buy water here, but of course you can not take it through security, and on the other side there is nowhere to buy more. So everyone waits until the last minute to go through to the gates, and then stampede all at once in order to make the plane. This is when the dogs vanish, as this is not civilized enough for them, and go looking for some new suckers to perform to....
