hello and welcome to our first travel log entry,

now we need to take u back to june 24th 2006.  we proclaimed our love for each other with family and friends as witnesses.   

after our ceremony  we decided to tour the states in order to see family and friends before taking off.  a brief summary of the itineray includes the majority of the states. 

essentially we did a cross country trip with a u-turn on the east coast.  we took the northern route east and the southern route west.  hi-lites include: rafting the kings river in seqouia national park, the oregon and pacific coasts, a backpack trip in the desolation wilderness, saying good bye and house sitting in seattle, glacier national parks 1st snow of the season, aspens turning in wyoming, the tetons,  a week at our property site in crestone, co, fun with family (in the twin cities, northern wi, indy, columbus, sc, nc, nyc,charlottesville, & savannah), key west and the everglades , new orleans ,austin, truth or consequences, grand canyon, las vegas (happy new year 1st one), benton hot springs, lake tahoe (circuit complete), chico, & redwood city.  7 months and many happy memories later we finally left...  the mainland.
