Lastnight I headed back to Dublin.  Abraham house really felt like
home.  I saw friends that I had already met and even the
receptionist recognized me.

This morning, I crossed Ireland in a bus (wanted the train but it was 3
times the price!!) to Killarney.  It's a city close to Tralee
(where my first long hike- Dingle Way begins).  A German man and
his older son assured me that I was fit for my hike- he said I had
strong boots and legs!!  He also told me I would meet the nice
Irish people here.  Boy was he right!!!

My hostel is amazing.  The dorm room is cramped but I met 2 nice
travellers.  The receptionist even did my laundry (for a small fee
but still half the price of laundry in Dublin).  When I was
walking to the tourist office, I looked at a map and a local approached
me to ask me where I was going and gave me directions.

Killarney feels like Banff.  There are mountains and hikes nearby
and it is full of tourists and shops.  But they all dress like
me!!  I thought people were friendly in dublin but here they're
100 times more!

Anyway, in case you wanted to know my plans.  I think that
tomorrow I'll check into a campground and prepare for my Dingle
way.  I need to test my tent, get fuel etc....  Then on
Saturday, I want to head to Tralee.  I may camp there a night and
then the next day begin my adventures.  I still have not found a
buddy to join me so It'll be solo but who knows.  Also, they're
gonna let me store a bag of UNNECESSARY stuff here at the
hostel...  this way I can lighten my load and leave my city
clothes and books.

I think I could stay here in Killarney for a while...
