Where I stayed
What I did
Lots of things.
We got to see the Grand Palace. Another beautiful Wat and Royal grounds. The main attraction was the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, which houses a solid Jade Buddha. No pictures were aloud inside but I was able to get shot from the outside through the door. The inside of these temples are very ornate and intricate. Murals line the walls and the alter on which the Buddha sits is magnificent.
Yesterday was a lazy day. We didn't leave our little part of town until noon. Usually we are up and out by 5am as we are still getting accustomed to the time difference. We have been taking advantage of the plentiful availability of foot massages
Now we head off to Koh Samet. I am looking forward to relaxing on the beach. :)
