As we left Singapore early in the morning we at last began to appreciate it - we saw the calm morning begin with people doing Thia Chi on any available open space. Sadly Jon lost his phone and is convinced that Oli was involved but has no proof!
We caught the airbus to Perth with mixed emotions we were leaving the exotic and heading for a more western style and spending time with Jon's sister Cherise -we needn't of worried she was so welcoming so warm. We arrived after the most bumpy flight we had ever experienced to grey skies, heavy rain and cold! Cherise's was there to welcome us and whisked us off to her house which was 40 minutes from the airport on the outskirts from Perth - 40 minutes was the new catch word as everything was 40 minutes away.
We spent time just getting to grips with normal life and introducing Oliver and Tabitha to there lovely adorable cousins Freya aged 3 and Anya aged 18months but who thinks she is 3
Cherise and Greg took us up to see a national park to see the Kangaroos, Koala bears and a huge Wombat and all the other weird and beautiful animals only found in Aus. Tabitha again the fearless trekker rode a 20 year old camel called Moggy. Did you know there are more Camels in Australia than any where else in the world. Despite their size they are gracious and gentle animals.

kings of the sand
! It was great to see the children just getting on and playing, Tabitha was happy to be the leader and they just all got on and we hope formed a bond that we can build on. Cherise was brilliant she opened her house to us and made us feel very very much at home, we were really relaxed, she is a great women, very relaxed, fun and kind. Greg introduced Jon to some nice new beer - it was weird to hear Oli calling for Uncle Greg. We liked Perth city. The sun shone brightly as we spent a glorious day in Kings Park overlooking the Swan River and the City.Cherise and Greg took us up to see a national park to see the Kangaroos, Koala bears and a huge Wombat and all the other weird and beautiful animals only found in Aus.
