Day 1

The Krewe of Hebe arrived around 9 p.m. on Thursday night after a long 350 mile drive from the piney woods of east Texas. The guys played some sweaty ping pong in the garage while the girls caught up in the living room and I went to bed. I had two exams that day and my first full clinic day on Friday so I needed some sleep.

Day 2

I went to school all day while everybody else had fun. Reagan and Randi took Robin and Jeff to San Marcos where they went skydiving for the first time (just Jeff and Robin). {Unrelated - Check out my skydive at the same location}After getting back to San Antonio, Lauren and Colby arrived from Austin, and Mallory came down from San Marcos.

Jeff, Lucas, and Bruce went down to the Alamodome to watch the Dallas Cowboys practice at training camp. All three came back with T.O. jerseys. Ha just kidding. Lucas did get a Romo jersey though. Some of the girls and Colby hung out at the neighborhood pool before getting ready for an action packed night.

We all went to La Fogata for drinks and dinner. La Fogata is Spanish for The Campfire. This was a pretty good time. The place is known for their margaritas and the food is good. It is mostly outside seating and has old Mexico feeling to it. Here is a picture of us at the restaurant.

After La Fogata we made our way downtown to
Pat O'Brien's on the riverwalk. Music on the way downtown was provided by lil' Romeo .

It was a miracle, but we got front row seating for 12 at the piano bar. About 20 other dental students and 10 Japanese exchange dental students showed up also. (This is something our school does every year - I will post a travelogue of their last visit shortly)

We left around 11 pm so that we could get some sleep for our long river day ahead.
