As I was leaving the Washington area heading South I was glad I wasn't going North with all the commuters. I arrived in Williamsburg with plenty of time to see the Governor's Palace and other sites in and around Colonial Williamsburg. I drove out to Jamestown and then to Yorktown, where I visited the Surrender Field and took the drive through the park. It's truly a beautiful area.

I parked adjacent to my first apartment, 706 Pollard Park, and found it to be exactly like it was 33 years ago. I was impressed by the herd of 5 deer that were roaming around the neighborhood. Although I made several attempts to take their picture, I messed up each and every one of them.

I visited the Klappers and we had a very nice visit, but I could tell that I shouldn't stay very long or I'd wear out Sister Klapper. After ~1:00 of visiting I took some photos and then left for my motel room. It was great to visit with them and to know that I had a small part in helping them find the true church. Knowing they're active and have strong testimonies is also very gratifying.
