I was awoken to some rumbling noises. What the heck was that noise and what time is it?!? I was told that it was 5am by our heroine, who was busy looking for her race pass. Why was she doing this now??? Why she could not do this at another time or in the sectioned off foyer, I just don't know! But wake me up she did!!! She finally gave up her searching and went in search for some food elsewhere. We juggled some people around the rooms and then headed out to see the town. Kevin, Eugene, Ed, Liezel, our heroine and I all headed out to see the castle. We wandered upon an Absinth shop, where Ron, Jon and Marisol were hanging out. Ron had some Absinth ice cream, while I learned about the different types of Absinth and how they are prepared.

We stopped off at Gitanes, as recommended by the Lonely Planet guide book, for some Czech food. This restaurant was known for its Czech meat balls, so I just had to have them so that I can compare them to the ones in Sweden. Well I think that these meat balls were a bit drier but they tasted a bit better. The Ikea meat balls seemed like they were frozen meat balls but came with very good sauce.

We then walked over Charles bridge, into the main square to have a sausage, to a beer garden and then to the main street. After a wonderful meal of KFC, we headed back to the square and the bridge to see Prague at night. Poor Kevin was so very tired, he just had to head back after dinner to get some sleep. We had to wake up at 4:30am to catch our flight to Croatia the next day.

So we got to see Prague at night and took many pictures. I pretty much did see everything on my previous four hour power walk/tour! I did not realize it but I was pretty much at the foot of the castle the last time but headed up towards the monastery instead. Oh well, I got to see wander around the castle and the whole town again!

Well it was now 11pm and it was time for us to head back and get ready for our trip tomorrow. When we got into the lobby, Jon was there with Kevin?!? Wasn’t he supposed to be in bed? Jon then said Sky Europe was out of business. I did not really register what he was saying and then I saw Ron and Marisol in the lobby. They were supposed to be on a flight at 7pm to Amsterdam, what are they doing here???

Well I remember Ron telling me that Sky Europe was having financial difficulties but he decided to book with them anyways. They were very cheap and who would know when they will go under. I guess now is the time! Ha ha ha!!! I mean, those butt heads, could they have not waited two more days? From what I heard, they are still operating but have stopped paying the airport fees, so the airport cancelled all their flights. Ron and Marisol actually went to the airport and could not find anyone operating the desk!

Yikes!!! We are all booked on Sky Europe from Prague to Split, Croatia! So out came the lap tops and we began to find what our options were. Ron took a picture of us and put it on his Twitter page, with the caption "Stuck in Prague!". We were having difficulties finding any flights out as most of them were departing on Thursday or Saturday. Why don’t they fly out on Monday and why are the flights so very expensive???

About 10 to 20 minutes went by and some random guy came up to our group and asked if this was our picture. He had Ron’s twitter picture on his iPhone, that was just posted! Ha ha ha!!!  The guy said that he actually did not know us but said that he recognized the red couches in the picture! How crazy is that??? Well that guy was in the same predicament as us and managed to get a flight through, as they were helping people stranded by Sky Europe. What a nice guy! Unfortunately that airline did not fly to where we wanted to go and we ended up deciding that the train was the way to go.

We finalized our plan and decided to meet up at 5:30am in the lobby to take the metro to the train station. We did find a route to Split, Croatia, hopefully there was room for us.  So it was back to the room for me to get some rest and for our heroine to start her usual ritual of packing up all her stuff.
