Day 9 - afternoon / evening

Who do you think was ahead of us at the Port Everglades terminal waiting in line to proceed to the counter desk!

It was none other than Fiorella and Justin!   Wow!   Talk about excellent timing or faith or even luck….call it whatever you want to but there they were right in front of us waiting to register!

If Michel and I were here today cruising on the "Allure of the Seas" it was all because of them!   You see, they had booked their Eastern Caribbean Cruise last summer and after telling us all about it, of course, we had to come. I invited myself in other words!

The same went for Fiorella's family!    The more, the merrier I told them!   I wondered if Justin and Fio liked the fact that we were all here today with them!   Hehehe!

As you know, Michel and I have been on this ship for one whole week now and have just finished the Western Caribbean Cruise!   A two week back to back cruise was what I’ve booked whereas the rest of the gang, only one week, the Eastern one!   Michel’s excuse was that he wanted to perfectly know his way around this huge monster of a ship before any of them.
The fun was about to start!   The second leg of my cruise was now a family affair!

After having lunch on the top deck at one of the quick bites, we went our separate ways looking for our staterooms.    Since I didn’t want to stay in the same stateroom for two whole weeks, for this second week, I’ve booked one on the same deck (12) but on the left side of the ship with a balcony overlooking the ocean instead of the interior of the ship.   We had stateroom 12154.

Michel and I spent a good portion of the afternoon at the flowrider.   After several attempts, he was finally able to stay up for a few minutes.   Hip hip hourrah for Michel!

The Allure of the Seas left Port Everglades’ pier at 5:00pm.    I was on my balcony waving goodbye to the small crowd gathered at the pier.   An exciting week was about to start: we were now with family and Justin’s in-laws!

We met in the Main Dining Room at 6:00pm this evening where we had reservations for seven.   The food was good and I wasn’t seasick.   This was followed by all of us going to the theater to watch the performance "Chicago".

Right after it, we went our own separate ways, us going back to our stateroom while Justin and Fiorella, exploring the ship with her parents and Mili!
