Day 7

Rise and shine…… That's right!   Regardless as to having gone to bed in the early hours of the morning, at 7:30am, I was very much awake, up and ready to confront the new day ahead of me!   Ready or not….here I come as the old saying goes!

By 9:00am, Michel and I were both outside taking our usual early morning walk along the cliff’s pathway, which by now had become part of our daily routine!  The weather was very hazy and foggy giving a mysterious look at the whole landscape.  Hoooooooo

Justin, Fiorella, Patrick and Sabrina met us at our hotel around 1:30pm in the afternoon and all together, a taxi was taken to Fiorella’s parents’ house.  We had a cake to eat…but not any kind of cake I should add…….we had the famous "Wedding Cake" to eat!   That’s right!!   We finally were going to have a piece of it, mind that I already knew how it tasted having eaten a piece of it when we were at the “Cake Lady’s house” several days earlier trying the samples!

Some family and friends were already at Fiorella parents’ house for this very special occasion.  Photos that I had taken of the wedding were viewed on my Ipad by all of us followed  by the cutting of the cake by the newly married lady, Fiorella!    Yummy!   It was just like I had tasted it before…it was delicious!   Hmmmmm!

And so, the day ended on this note, each one of us going our own separate ways having preparations to do for our upcoming trips…….   Justin, Fiorella, Patrick and Sabrina were all heading to Puerto Maldonado, the Peruvian Amazona whereas us, Michel and I, leaving in the early hours of the morning to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands!   Yeahhhhhh!
