Day 12 (evening)Temperature: 10 degreesWeather: windy and cooler
We ate at the hotel’s Moonlight Restaurant, a lovely place where hot and cold buffet style food was served on numerous tables. The atmosphere was extremely pleasant and relaxing especially since the place wasn’t that crowded. Upon entering, I was sporting a big wide smile on my face and had a very good reason for it….and you’ll never guess why!
This deluxe hotel had a jewelry store and just as I happened to be passing right in front of it, on my way to dinner of course, well you know me; I just couldn’t resist it and had to enter and check the merchandise. Half an hour later and 2,500.00 US$ poorer as Michel bluntly puts it, I was sporting a gorgeous 18K gold chain with pendant and matching bracelet! Both jewelries had Turkey’s evil eye crystal beads. :-)
We settled near the window with a view of the sea. The sky was completely dark and the sea couldn’t be seen in this total darkness but the splashing sound of it could be heard and it was music to my ears!
Wine was served with our meal and we toasted to our trip, our wonderful trip that we’ve been having so far in exploring Turkey and me discovering all of its golden treasures! Hahaha! Statistics for the day
