Day 3 (evening)

Temperature:   5 degrees
Weather:  cooler at night
At 6:15pm, I made my way inside the conference room where the meeting was to take place.  Michel was right next to me.  As I glanced around the room, three people were already in the room, beating me at my game!   I quickly introduced myself before heading to the back of the room.

We elected to sit in the back row having therefore a better view of everyone in front of us!  Juices, coffee/tea and even wine were on a table for all of us to enjoy....kind of a "Welcome Cocktail" thing.  More people eventually arrived and by 6:30pm, everyone was seated in their chairs.

A tall chubby Turkish man by the name of Daghan introduced himself as our Tour Director (TD) for the next 16 days.  He went on saying that he was single, 32 years of age and from his charisma, personality and good sense of humor, I could see right away that we would be quite highly entertained by him.  So far so good!

In total, we were 34 people coming from all parts of the world such as Australia, Britain, Canada, Singapore, South Africa and USA. We were all couples except for three singles. Age varied from two couples in their late thirties to one veterinary 86 years old senior doctor but the majority being middle aged.

Daghan then provided details of the itinerary and the "rotational seats" inside the 40 seats motor coach which would allow all of us to enjoy various views, share and blend with the group.

It was now question period in which a few people asked questions and answers given.  The next two weeks will definitely prove to be quite interesting and I was by now, quite excited to get the show started!
