Brazil Tour:   Day 4 Iguazu Falls - Bird Zoo

After our helicopter flight was over, we crossed the street and went straight to a "Bird Zoo", a  tropical paradise where over 160 species of indigenous and from other continent birds lived in their natural habitat without any restrictions of netting and cages.   A good hour was spent wandering around the 12 acres of subtropical forest having fun while admiring some of the most beautiful exotic birds on this planet.

Knowing quite well that the last tourist bus admitted into the National Park was around 4:30pm, we quickly left the Bird Park and headed towards the bus gate showing off our free entry access card to the guard without any problems.  Had we missed the park’s last entry bus or even went back to the National Park past closing hours, we would have had to hire a taxi, pay the driver and show our proof of staying at the Das Cataratas Hotel to the guard at the Park’s entry gate.  Only the guests of the hotel were admitted in.   Fortunately for us, this wasn’t the case since we didn’t miss the bus!
