We woke to grey skies once again and by the time we were underway it was raining. The further we drove, the harder it rained. We were glad that our destination, the Hernando County Airport, just south of Brookville FL, was only about an hour and a half away. We arrived at the Family Motor Coach Association rally to find that many people had jumped the gun and had settled in yesterday. We are near the end of a long line of coaches on an unused airport runway but it shouldn't be too bad as they provide a shuttle bus from the parking area to the exhibits and presentation buildings. One person told Don that the number of participants is dramatically down from last year. This is probably due to a combination of economic and weather factors. If this is a regional rally, I can hardly imagine the size of the national rally later in the year.
