So the jet lag is finally starting to wear off, but the memories will last forever! We are now back in the USA and staying with Conor's parents in Seattle. We have decided not to do our cross country trip. We are a little burnt out on the constant go go go and are really enjoying being in one spot for a bit, and the whole paying off the trip thing I guess is a factor too! We are bummed that we won't get to see everybody, but we hope to find time to do it one day soon. We really loved traveling and we hope that it might have sparked a little travel bug in some of you too. It was all so amazing, the food, the people, the views, the sunsets, the beaches, and well everything......... We are enjoying the perks of America, and the vices too :) We have been watching a little trash TV (got to catch up on a little MTV and Movies....I Know, so bad......) and eating all the yummy things we could not find on our travels
. George (Conor's Dad) has entertained us with his 'Squirrel Relocation Project' and 'Squirrel Extreme Makeover' (spray painting their tails to make sure they are not coming back). The plan may be back firing a bit because we have spotted a green tailed squirrel running around the trees right outside! Our cell phones are back on and, although it is taking some getting used to, it is a nice luxury(and just so convenient)! Conor and I have loved having some other options in clothing too, and I don't think we have touched our backpacks since we got off the plane! I would recommend traveling to everyone, and we are already thinking about when to squeeze in the next trip, maybe a weekend on Hawaii....we will need to keep up our diving skills....or just get settled back into the San Francisco lifestyle. Thank you all for keeping in touch and keeping up with the Travel Blog. I wanted to give a big old congratulations to Cliff and Sara Amber Langin for their new addition to the family......Little Gavin Levi Langin (see picture above). He is so adorable, excellent work you two! Also congrats and good luck to Katie and Todd who are moving out of San Francisco and into their new spot in Glen Elen, and for their 3 week trip to Prague and Italy! We will miss you guys so much in the city, but you will have so much fun and only be an hour away! Julie tell Cooper not to forget his Auntie, and we will be home soon. We have a few thing to get taken care of up here in Seattle and we should be down in San Fran towards the middle to end of May
. Of course the reality of real life has already set in with my car needing new brakes, where is my beach in Thailand........... Only pictures and memories remain, but I have a feeling they will last a lifetime. Just thinking about where we got to go brings a big smile to my face, and if I close my eyes I can still see the beaches and hear the waves crashing. I will miss the little Geico's call 'GEEEEKKKKOOOO', that wonderful feeling of not knowing what is around the corner, and the even better feeling of finding what is there. I have added a few more pictures and some of my old favorites. I would say our favorite place might have been New Zealand, but all the places we went were so different. I personally loved all the people and the wildlife ( I love wombats!) we encountered. The world is a big place and I am so happy to have seen what we have seen, and I can't wait to see what lies ahead!
See you soon
Molly and Conor
