Hello All,
This is my first entry in my travelogue. I wanted to set something up so I can update all my awesome friends and family on how / what I'm doing in Haiti. I'm not sure how often I am going to have internet access, but I hope to be able to get to a computer at least once a month. I hear that the most exciting thing to a Peace Corps Volunteer is to get mail from home, SO if anyone wants to (PLEASE!) send me anything, here is my address (at least for the first three months):

PCT Molly Rosenberg
Corps de la Paix
B.P. 920
Port-au-Prince, Haiti

Letters take an 80 cent international stamp and should be fairly reliable, but if you want to send a package, I hear that the padded envelopes usually get through easier than actual packages and if you declare the value of whatever you are sending at $0 then there is a better chance it will get to me without a curious Haitian postal employee trying to figure out what's inside. Always welcome are: crossword puzzles, trashy celebrity gossip magazines, sunflower seeds, batteries and, of course gossip/pictures from home! (I just got a funny picture in my head of before-mentioned curious Haitian postal employee reading up on how jessica and nick's marriage is in trouble - so much for trying to dispel the stereotype of shallow Americans!) I am going to miss everyone SO MUCH, but I am really going to try to be very good about writing letters and e-mails and of course there is an open invitation to ANYONE who wants to come visit me at anytime(except I can't have visitors for the first 6 months :() I hear that Carnival (on Fat Tuesday) is not to be missed. So start listening to some Wyclef and get excited! I hope to get in touch with everyone before I leave, and I will be thinking about you all all the time! Wish me luck!
Love,
Molly
