You should see the size of the schnitzels here!   The castles are pretty big too. I say Texas has nothing on Austria when it comes to the proportion of things. We had a gander around Schonbrunn Palace today - a lovely setting complete with elaborate gardens and a hedge maze.

The Vienna activity that made me feel most "European" was our evening drink at a very regal cafe, complete with round marble tea tables and newspapers stored in an antique rack on large wooden dowels. On the flipside, the thing that made Vienna feel like a home away from home was the LRT. It's the exact same system built by Siemens used in Calgary's C-Train, with the same cars and familiar door-opening buttons.
