trap me
subdue me to your desperate,
uncreative, age-inducing sex
close my love within our fence
reduce my world
to the hills visible from our private home
reduce my family
to the people who share my name
clutch me closer
when ugly strangers
or beautiful strangers near
teach me to hate
whom I don't understand
clutch our offspring
so they cannot fly
shoot down the whole of me
and use it to fill your holes
make me provide you with diamonds
and turn a blind eye from the starving
cut my hair
and trap me
