Hello Everyone,

This is going to be my travelogue when I am student teaching in Kenya. I will try to update this website twice a week with pictures and journal entries. I am going to miss my family, friends, and of course....the Chinese Buffet. I look forward to continued contact during my time in Kenya, via this web page. In that way, I will be enhancing the global perspective of all!

I am sure that this will be a very good experience for you. I am very jealous that I could not do an over seas teaching experience, I just could not leave zachary for that long and I was not guarenteed housing for a child. Be safe and Have fun. Look forward to hearing all of your stories!

Hey Sunshine,we are sure proud of who you are and what you are doing. Wish you all the best there can be and a safe and secure journey. As a teacher, you also need to take time to learn from this adventure, and to savor the fantastic expreience that you have been afforded. Enjoy, have fun, take lots of pix and don't forget the fruitcake.........

Hey girl!
I have tried an entry in your log and it has not posted will try again! What do you think o the stars in the sky at night ? It is unbelievable isn't it?
A suggestion for teaching your children....have them learn their tasks by song, when I was in Africa I noted everyone doing jobs did it in unison by song. I thought maybe if you had some one translate what you were wanting them to do(exercising) and put it into song you would have great success. Im so happy for you! Did you bring Gary's phone number with you? If you should talk with him, please say a hello for me/
