HOLA... okay well I have spent my first night in Santiago. Last night I went out with my host brother and his friends to a disco. First we drank a little in the street. Its more expensive to do in a bar but its illegal in the street... we had to hide from the cops. We came back around 6... which is kinda late for me... but I had a great time hanging out with people I barely know. One girl though, when she heard I was american, told me how much she hated americans and the government. I was a little take aback but she continued to explain that the government is corrupt and talk about how much she hates bush. She seemed suprised when I told her only a little over 50% voted for him in the election. I am getting used to this no central heating thing... kinda. The bus drivers here are officially crazy but thats okay... I am just going ot have to learn to take them... HMMM I iwll post pictures of my house when I get chance... I have the best view of the mountains. Well that is all for now... I will write later!
