Respect to K this morning as she managed a 4Km soft sand beach run followed by an ice cold shower in the Surf Club without bleating. En-route to Dunedin, K spotted a factory wool shop and posted home 2kg of Possum and Merino wool, allegedly you cannot buy this in UK which supposedly justified the 25 postage.

We eventually got to the Otago Peninsula, the gateway to the only mainland colony of Royal Albatross in the world.  The Royal Albatross is one of the world's largest seabirds with a wing span of up to 3m and able to fly 190000 km a year up to speeds of 120km per hour.  We spent nearly 2 hours amidst other wildlife enthusiasts trying to catch the photos of the illusive bird while being dive bombed and splatted by various other seabirds.
