Two visits today, the Amber Fort, the original capital of the state which was built in 1592 by Raja Man Singh, and the Pink Palace which is located in the heart of the Pink City. The Pink (AKA City) Palace was where the Maharaja reigned and was built between 1729 and 1732 AD by Sawai Jai Singh II.

The day concluded with a trip to a traditional Indian village where we succumbed to a few tourist activities such as, an elephant ride, followed by a traditional head massage and a henna tattoo. Unsurprisingly,  these activities were only supported by the ladies.
