My mother and I have spent the last three days in wonderful, cool Barcelona. The weather has been comfortable, a little rainy and very enjoyable. Weve seen a lot here, but the highlights include the Joan Miro museum, the Gaudi apartment and park, the Picasso museum, the Palace de Musica and the tapas. We had an unbelievable lunch in the Boqueria market off of Ramblas Street. This was probably the best food on the trip (other than the boat in Turkey), we ate four large tapas dishes, including calamari, vegetables, clams and mushrooms that were out of this world (not literally). The food was cooked with simple olive oil and salt, and nothing tasted better. Tonight we are going back to the Palace de Musica for a flamenco opera and tomorrow we head north to visit Dalis home and museum.
I was post more pictures, believe me, Im taking them . . .
Miss you all,
