Where I stayed

Buongiorno! It's Mrs O. Babe's tired after a huge 7 course lunch so I decided to tell you what we've been up to.
Well, we have been "hunting" flamingoes, chasing mountain goats and we have also been stuck on the road with 100 sheeps around us!

We have cycled to see wonderful Pont Du Gard aquaduct, roamed around beatiful Avignon and most of all we have been driving ( and pedal boating) through absolutely gorgeous gorges.

I've been near a heart attack about a thousand times in the narrow mountain roads no matter I'm never on the "drop side". I'm mainly sitting in the middle of the road due to the right side traffic. We have hiked some awesom mountains in the Parque National Du Mercantour. We were the first hikers trying to reach the Mont Demant this spring, but unfortunately the clouds surrounded us just before we reached the summit. We had no choice but to turn back; especially because the path was covered with snow and therefore we were making our own route up. I was promoting my superb Aldi gear (only boots and knickers NOT Aldi), but unfortunately there was only one fox around, no other humans.

I've done an exchilarating (and boobs freezing) cycle ride zigzagging the mountain road from the snow covered ground in nearly 2000 metres to the green valley in 700 metres. John kept on passing me in Banksy. This all happened because the road was still closed (too much snow) and we had to turn back.

Last few days we've been hanging around in the French Riviera; Menton, Nice and Monaco. We missed our brunch with Albert and forgot our pincode to our yacht, but otherwise we really enjoyed Monaco; except I was deafened by the passing McLaren road car. Monte Carlo was getting ready for the Formula 1 and it was a good opportunity for us to see the pit stop halls and walk around the track. We still have few cents left after the Casino visit and therefore we have been able to carry on our trip to Italy. It took us nearly an hour from the French border before we had our first pizza and ice-cream. Right now we are visiting our dear friends in Torino.
Mille grazie for all your hospitality!!

Hauskaa Vappua!

ps. If you want to be IN this season you MUST wear gold or silver shoes.
ps2. Could someone tell Mama Ozwell that I've been living in the blue fleece and that John is running out of his X-mas sweets?!
