So then, this morning we headed to Boston, we both decided to do the ''Fuglie'' tour, The city trolley bus looked quite Manky, and the windows had plastic sheets over them, so you really could not take any decent piccys from that, we could have stopped and got off. But to be quite honest Boston was a bit of a let down, it has just grown into such a big city even on a Sunday feels like a weekday!
So went to see what we wanted to see, I wanted to see the Boston tea party ship, but the feefing thing wasn't there, aprantly undergoing renovations or some ut - great!
Then we wanted to see the Cheers pub and hopefully park up and go inside and have a drink, forget parking, it is in a busy intersection of road, The trolley bus would have been usefull here
Then I wanted to visit the USS constitution ship, Just stooped in the street that was quiet nearby, and Deb took some piccys for me.,
Overall Deb didn't like Boston, but to be fair to the city, you really need to spend 2 -3 days to tour it properly and use public transport. - i Would like to think we could visit here again on a long weekend trip, which is very possible now that we will be living near in the Maritimes.
So after a short trip to Boston, we headed on the road towards Bangor, we had forgot about the clocks going back today, so we running out of light very quiclky, And the highways near here can be full of Mouse, you don't want to run into them in the dark of night.
We are now staying at the Ramada hotel, its not bad. a bit outdated in the bathroom, but warm clean and dry.
So tomorrow, we will have a lazy start of the day, then head towards the Canadian border which is about 1.5 hours away
Also Tommorow, we will sum up our USA trip giving some advice and tips if you decided to do it yourselves, and recap of the fondest memoies of the places we have visited and places we would like to visit that we didn't get chance this time.
