Today was the day for the long ride down the coast to the town of Northampton.

After having said our goodbyes to those not returning to Perth we got on the bus quit early in the morning as there were over 500km's to drive before stopping for the evening.

I was lucky to be able to stretch my legs out on after sitting on a raised seat for the journey up the coast and as I finished my book on that journey I actually managed to have a nice nap on the way down only getting up for the rest breaks and listening to the quite good collection of music by somebody old enough to call dad.

After the long drive we arrived int the town of Northampton which eerily felt like Northampton UK but without the big shopping malls. The place where we were to stop for the night was an Old Convent that was apparently haunted. It initially seemed a bit scarier than the sheep station and again the checking of the bathrooms were in pairs (however I must say the showers were the best here in terms of power and definitely not looks on the whole tour) and once I was told about why it was apparently haunted - the story being a nun hanged herself on the staircase - it was hard not to look at the staircase everytime I walked past but not really believing in ghosts it didn't bother me much.

We had our last meal as a group with the good old favourite fish and chips washed down with a few beverages of the alcoholic kind before retiring to bed.
