Having reached Exmouth it was time to settle in and then have a night out at the Potshot resort. This was quite an interesting night to say the least with the clientele of the place being a bit special and not full of backpackers as one would think in a backpackers hostel. The music also had a lot to answer for as the same songs were played several times but it was a good night as the people you are with usually make it one. After a few glasses of vino and a few beers the night ended at 12! Wasn't impressed with that closing time on a Friday night but there was not much anybody could do about that.

The next day was a tour of Exmouth starting with the lighthouse to see the views of the sea and beaches and views of the Cape Range and then it was a trip to the famous Turquoise bay where the full extent of the Ningaloo was seen. It was time to don the snorkelling gear and with flippers this time and see the vast amount of fish, eels, turtles and of course coral

Terry had seen a shark and as my head was above the water by the time I went to have a look (as it swam right under me) the shark had got away...to be honest it was probably just as well even if the reef shark doesn't have any teeth I'm sure they are still scary as hell.

We then went on a few more excursions and saw Mildura' creek/shipwreck before heading back to Exmouth for a last supper for the whole tour of pizza in town. Town is an operative word here as there wasn not much other than the big open road, a petrol station, and a handful of restaurants.
