I decided that my Tuesday would be more productive than my last two days. I planned a trip to London photographers gallery before my 2 o'clock class. Waking up at the godly hour of 10, I hustled down to breakfast to meet up with my traveling companion. Jalan and I headed out of regents park towards Oxford circus area. On the way I realized that we are around the corner from the London music academy, which is on my list of fun free things to do in London ( they give out free tickets to concerts for students). On our walk we passed consulate road, the USA consulate is not on it, and all souls langham place. The photographers gallery is a little building tucked into a small alley way off Oxford street. The five story building consists of 4 gallery's of local artist who use photography some way in their art
On our way back from the gallery we passed a whole line of people waiting to get into some show. I inquired from a nice gentleman what the line was for, it was for Britain Got Talent! I was so excited I took a picture with one of the crowd control people. Jalan thought I was absolute nuts because reality tv is for losers. We also passed the BBC headquarters on the way back. The people around us must of thought we were weirdos for how excited we both were about British television, since that's just regular tv to them.
At 2 I had my first social history class, the making of London. I was worried that a three hour history class was going to be a bore, but I was mistaken. My professor is an awesome guy who planned a great semester for us. We have tons of field trips to go on and he really knows how to keep us interested in class.
